How It Works & FAQ's

What type of use is allowed at LAUNCH LAB BASEBALL & SOFTBALL?

Generally speaking, any Baseball or Softball hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, or throwing is the type of activity allowed. Specific use, supervision requirements, rules, and minimum age requirements are defined in "Batting Cage Rules." Failure to follow facility expectations and rules may result in a BAN.

Who can use the Facility?

Any 18+ year old with a completed and returned Liability Waiver PRIOR TO, OR AT THEIR INITIAL USE of the Facility, OR any minor with a completed and returned Liability Waiver PRIOR TO, OR AT THEIR INITIAL USE of the Facility signed by their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) may use the Facility. Age/supervision restrictions for equipment and use-type apply.  ALL USERS MUST MEET the Liability Waiver Requirement PRIOR TO, OR AT INITIAL USE of the Facility. Once we have a completed and submitted Liability Waiver on-file from a User, we do not need another waiver unless that User turns 18.

How old must I be to create an account AND book a session? What does my account allow me to do?

You must be 18+ years old to create a Launch Lab Baseball & Softball account with the "Launch Lab Baseball & Softball" App, AND to be a Booking Agent. Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) may book on behalf of their Minor children. You must download the Launch Lab Baseball & Softball App through the AppStore on your phone and access your Launch Lab Baseball & Softball account this way, instead of through the "web" version. Our App gives you the ability to book Self-Use and Team-Use sessions, book into camps, purchase Credit Packs, track your credits, access 1-on-1 Lesson Credit Packs, etc. Parents/Legal Guardians may book sessions with their account on behalf of their minor(s) (age restrictions and supervision requirements apply). All Users, including minor children and adults, must meet the Liability Waiver Requirement PRIOR TO, OR AT their INITAL USE of the Facility.

If those are full, you must park on the street.  If our commercial neighbors on the same lot as us have closed their business for the day, and our two (2) designated parking spots are full, you may at that time park in the front lot.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

It is highly recommended that you provide your own bat, helmet, glove, batting gloves, and catcher's equipment.  If you do not have your own, there are helmets, bats, and catcher's gear with masks, etc., provided to you on-site. Equipment is sorted for use-type and located within the Facility on various shelves for your convenience.

Is there a bathroom in the Facility?

No. Please plan accordingly. If you are a Team-Use Session(s) booking agent, some information regarding emergency use will be discussed prior to your initial booking of Team-Use Session(s).

What is a credit?

A Self-Use and Team-Use credit is thirty (30) minutes in a single cage (Cage 1 or Cage 2) that is applied to bookings on the "timetable" portion of the App. Lesson Credits (also 30 minutes) are separate and can only be applied to Lessons.

How do I sign and submit the Liability Waiver? How do I meet the Liability Waiver Requirement?

To view the Liability Waiver Requirement, click here. To view "How to Access & Submit Liability Waivers, click here.

In what scenarios are completing and submitting a PDF version or paper version of the Liability Waiver appropriate?

ALL NEW USERS must complete a liability waiver prior to or at their initial use of the facility. In Self-Use or Team-Use Sessions where there is MORE than one User, it is possible that the Liability Waiver Requirement MAY NOT be satisfied by the Booking Agent. This would be true of any bookings by the Booking Agent where ANY other User(s) of the Facility is NOT their own minor child, and that User(s) doesn't already have a completed and submitted PDF or paper version of the Liability Waiver on-file with Launch Lab Baseball & Softball.

How is the Liability Waiver requirement fulfilled by my Minor User(s) and/or other Minor User(s)?

It is the Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) responsibility as the Booking Agent to ensure that their Minor child User has completed the Liability Waiver Requirement with Launch Lab Baseball & Softball PRIOR TO, OR AT their INITIAL USE of the Facility. It is also the Booking Agent's responsibility to ensure that ALL other Users of the Facility have met the Liability Waiver Requirement PRIOR TO, OR AT THEIR INITIAL USE of the Facility. The Liability Waiver Requirement is met by a Minor User when their Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) has either previously completed and submitted a PDF file or paper copy version of the Liability Waiver to Launch Lab Baseball & Softball, or by completing and submitting a new PDF file or paper copy version of the Liability Waiver PRIOR to their INITIAL USE of the Facility. If you are unsure about whether you or any other accompanying User has satisfied the the Liability Waiver Requirement it would be a good idea to fill out a Liability Waiver. Age restrictions and supervision requirements apply.

If I am the Booking Agent for my team's Team-Use Session(s) or a Self-Use Session, am I responsible for ensuring that all Users have a signed and completed Liability Waiver on-file PRIOR to their INITIAL USE of the Facility?

Yes, ALL team participants MUST meet the Liability Waiver Requirement before any potential User can participate. All names and ages of Users on the team must be listed on the Sign-In Sheet (located within the Facility) at EVERY session attended. Upon purchasing Team-Use Session Credit Packs, a notification will be sent to your Glofox account-associated email address with an attached PDF file/link that you should freely disseminate (email) however you please to your team to ensure that each user has a completed Liability Waiver on-file. To view "How to Access & Submit Liability Waivers," click here.

After myself and/or my accompanying Users have met the Liability Waiver requirement, do we need to complete any future Liability Waiver(s)?

If a User has already met the Liability Waiver Requirement PRIOR TO THIER INITIAL USE of the Facility, they DO NOT need to submit any further form of the Liability Waiver, but Booking Agents MUST ALWAYS fill out whom the Users are on the Sign-In Sheet (located within the Facility) at EVERY session attended. If a Minor User turns 18, they will need to submit a new Liability Waiver, thus meeting the Liability Waiver Requirement as an adult.

How do I book and access 1-on-1 Lessons and Workouts? How do I buy more credits?

Visit our "Lessons & Instructors" page for more information about our quality instructors, services offered, and 1-on-1 Lesson Credit Pack(s) pricing. If you're interested in any 1-on 1 Lessons, please reach out to Launch Lab Baseball & Softball to discover new student Lesson availability and other Lesson details. 1-on-1 Lesson credits cannot be purchased directly through the website or App. No self-booking or keyless entry access applies to 1-on-1 Lessons. Can I book both cages at the same time and/or book back-to-back Self-Use or Team-Use Sessions ?

Yes. You may book either cage for as long as you'd like. Just keep in mind that one (1) credit equals thirty (30) minutes in a single cage, and that the maximum number of Users in a Self-Use Session is two (2). Failure to follow "Batting Cage Rules" will result in a ban from Launch Lab Baseball & Softball. To book cages at the same time, you will need to have a second account to book a slot at the same time as another slot.

At what time will I gain access to the Facility for a Self-Use or Team-Use Session?

You will gain access to the Facility via your emailed access link when the link becomes valid five (5) minutes prior to your session starting. Example: Booking @ 3:00-3:30. Access Granted @ 2:55-3:30.

 â€‹

Is there enough equipment available to each cage if both cages are in-use at the same time?

Why am I unable to book a Self-Use Session(s) at a particular time on the "Home & Schedule" page?
